According to the White House there are over half a million job openings in Information Technology as of 2015 and growing. Some of these jobs (about 30%) are in software development roles, however the majority (about 70%) are related to IT operations and systems integration roles such as network engineering, IT systems support, administration, and IT architecting with specializations across a variety of different technologies. Think Networking, Data Center, Cloud, and Cyber-Security!
